Welcome to Cottage Grove!

Cottage Grove, the "Covered Bridge Capital of Oregon," is located about 20 miles to the south of the Eugene/Springfield metro area. Six of the covered bridges in Lane County are located in or around the City of Cottage Grove. The first thing most newcomers to Cottage Grove notice is that people they don't know will look them in the eye and speak with them on the street. Life moves at a comfortable–but never boring–pace here, and the town's beauty and character have helped it develop a respectable tourism economy.
